Duplicating records

Many of my entries have 2 or more composers on each disc. I want to try and have separate entries for each of these composers. I thought if I could duplicate an entry -then modify it....but how does one duplicate an entry simply?

Highlight the album then Tools -> Duplicate Album

But I don't think that is the best approach. If the composer is specified for each track on a multi-composer album then choosing Composer under Browse by will aggregate every album by a composer. Clicking + by the composer's name will display all the albums with at least one track by that composer.
