Where are preferences stored

Hard drive was starting to fail.. I copied everything to an external..
New hard drive.. reinstalled programs...
Imported last OCD backup

Now my views are not what they used to be.. I can't remember what template I was using... Is there a preferences file that I can look at to see and or replace with my backed up one? where would I look for it.

I think all settings are stored in the registry.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Firetongue]

Hmm.. not the best place to store preferences.. but I will check my backup to see if I can find it.... thanks ;O)
