Feature Request: Make 'recording session' data more like musician/credits data

It's often the case that an album is recorded in several places, and sometimes it's impossible to know which place or places is correct for each track. Sometimes even tracks are laid down in several sessions. And sometimes mixing and mastering are done in different places.

A list like the 'Musicians' list would support capturing this knowledge. Suggested columns would include studio name, what was done there (recording, mastering, mixing) and dates.

Another page could be used to define studio names in terms of their physical location, i.e. Muscle Shoals Studios are always going to be in Muscle Shoals, AL, United States.

You would also need some new tags and looping constructs to support presenting this data in a template.

Thanks for replying. What you've stated is right. Sometimes the recording is done in one place, the mixing in another and the mastering in a third. And occasionally the liner notes or musician's site have all that, so I'd like to be able to capture it. It would also be nice if there was a field where you could select or type 'Recording' or 'Mastering' or whatever.

Since studios generally don't move (there are exceptions, like the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio which a bunch of people borrowed), it would also be nice if Orange could fill in default city and country when a studio with the same name was entered at some past time.
