search all field / custom field

Hi,

I'm testing the software.
I have 2 questions:

1)
Is there a way to add a search box in the toolbar where I can search for all fields without opening output windows, search windows?

2)
I can't find also how to add a custom field:
owner
Is it possible to add this custom field?

No, but you can use search in specific fields via Search toolbar.

Yes. Click menu View -> Preferences -> Database -> Custom fields.
