i know you've got a lot going on with the R&T site right now. i just wanted to put this out there. It's a minor annoyance for me since i have a lot of vinyl.

When i upload LP "box sets" to R&T, each disc gets a heading of "CD1, CD2, ..." unless i enter a part title.

Example: http://www.racksandtags.com/neomarvelbunny/albums/1073891/

OrangeCD uses the headings "Volume 1, Volume 2, ..." for LP "box sets." It would be ideal if R&T used "Disc 1, Disc 2, ..." for everything (how many people have multi-cassette sets?), but i'd settle for R&T treating LP sets the same way OrangeCD does.

Hi,

I have about 600 vinyl albums, which I would like to add to my OrangeCD database. Is there an easy way to add the LPs or do I have to add them manually.

Any help will be appreciated.

The easiest way to add vinyl is to use Album -> Add from FreeDB, search by artist or title, and once you've found your album, "preview and add" and change CD to LP under format.

If you can't find it through FreeDB, use Add from Amazon, but you'll have to add the track durations in manually.

If you can't find the album through FreeDB or Amazon, you'll probably have to enter it manually.

BTW, i believe this is an FAQ (http://www.firetongue.com/how-to/add-music-to-database.html#a2).

Thanks for pointing this out, it's a website bug, will be fixed.
