In a field, how can I replace part of a string by another string, in a selected database (for instance 1 composer) or in the whole database ?

FI:

Ref # column info : "classical 001" by "CL 001"

Unfortunately, no.

Please also check out the disccusion in http://www.firetongue.com/boards/orangecd_suggest/1183497794.html - I will definitely investigate possibility of adding Find and Replace facility.
