I have CDs that are listed by artist alone or with a band (i.e. Bob Marley and Bob Marley and the Wailers). I want to put them all under Marley, Bob but seem to have difficulty.
I get messages such as: The following artist(s) or composer(s) cannot be filed as different names because they are in conflict with pre-configured spelling or sort names. To fix problem, edit corresponding artist or composer profiles.
Sometimes I get this message: "Marley, Bob" is a spelling of another artist. Do you want to add it to Bob Marley instead?
I seem to able to correct this by dragging the CDs from Bob Marley to Bob Marley & the Wailers or vice-versa. Is there any other way to accomplish getting an artist into one grouping?
