Ordering Records

I have a couple of sony 400cd players and I need to be able to load the machines in a specific order so that catalogues can be printer that correspond to the cd location in the 400cd Multidisk unit.

I have tried exporting, but only actual date is recorded as date entered. Is their any way to load the data set in the order that they were scanned into the database.

I need to do this monthly, as we add a new player full of cd's for reviewing.

I also have a 400-CD player, and I'd like to show in my catalog where each CD in the player is located in the player at the moment, without loading the player in some restricted way. What's the right way to do this? I'd like to simply add a field to my catalog, but at the moment I can't see how.
