playing songs with itunes

I'm trying to play songs (mp3s) that are in my itunes library by clicking 'play' in OCD.

The app switches to iTunes but nothing happens.
Same with the queue.

This is my CLI:

C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe %1

Any insights?

i'm renewing my question 2 years later: is anyone able to get itunes to hook up with orange cd?

View -> Preferences -> Media

select Custom command line in the drop down next to Method of playing multiple media files

and enter

"C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe" /play "%L"

(Include the " marks.) You may need to edit this if iTunes is elsewhere on your computer.

Works seamlessly for me, though it may take iTunes a little bit of time to find the track. I have not been able to generate an iTunes playlist from Orange CD.

I should note that if I select M3U playlist from the dropdown, the same command line appears automatically, but that may a residue of the many times I have changed things in my setup. The instructions in Orange say to use %1, but %L works.
