It would be great to have a line number option in the Theme Editor. And column numbers as well. It makes editing and debugging a lot simpler.

Has this feature disappeared from v.5 to v.6, or is my memory just playing games with me? I was sure that I had activated line numbering in the old version.

This feature never existed. I'll put your request in to-do list, but frankly, DAX editor has very low priority at this time, so please don't expect it soon. I hope you understand.
