Hey everybody.
I'm using the registered version of OrangeCD for a few months now.
I asked myself, if it is possible to add multi-language support for the non-english users?
I would purchase a second licence for my father, but he cannot understand english.

Yes, it is possible, but in order to have a localized version about 2000 text strings have to be translated. If you can do it or know anyone who is fluent with the language you need and who can help with translating the strings, I can send them to you and create a localized version in matter of days.
Andrei
Hi Andrei,
Would that be OK for the Portuguese language as well ???
I can make the translation for you! So this wonderful database could start having a multi-language support !
That would be a nice feature on the program, don't you think?
Anyway I volunteer for that if you want to. Please do tell me something about it.
Greetings. ;D

I can make a dutch translation. I've already translated the Crisp theme, so part of my OrangeCD is dutch at this moment! I've did this because my custom fields are also in dutch and it looked funny having an english interface with 4 dutch words.

I can make a german translation.
A multi-language version would be great. Maybe you could create resource-dlls for the languages so they can be added dynamically.
I could make a swedish translation.

OK, by now everyone who posted in this topic should already receive a localization file. Thanks for a try. Also, keep in mind that any templates or themes that you want to use also needs to be translated for the full localization of the software. You can find them in Templates subfolder of OrangeCD installation folder.

Hi Andrei,
I received a e-mail from you, that someone already translate OrangeCD into german. You said it can take some time for the translation because the person is very busy at the moment.
I am not so busy at this moment and could translate the resources faster than he can.
What would you say?
Hi Andrei,
I can make a french translation,

Hi,
I sent him a note about this and currently waiting for reply. I'll post whenever I get any news. Thanks for your help,

Hello andrei
I think the translation in French will be done
for this weekend. It's 4/5 OK.
The words in French are longer and not so precise
than English, so it will be a first try.
I'll give you back the csv and my french template
for the first integration.
Is it possible to add www.amazon.fr ???
Bye

Web Services on amazon.fr server are not yet available, according to the latest Amazon SDK. We will add support for it as soon as they become public.

Is there anyone willing to make the Brasilian translation?
I've already made the Portuguese one and I know both languages look like quite the same but they're not! In Brasil they translate quite differently a lot of words specially informatic terms. And as we know, lots of programs have both versions.
If there was a volunteer I could send my file and he/she just had to change the necessary (this of course if Andrei wants to have a Portuguese and a Brasilian version of the program!) ;D
If so just email me ;)
I can make a polish translation. :)

I would be interested in translating OCD. I have translated pretty few programs in the past.
