Just a quick question, I downloaded the eval version of Cd Record Catalog, but find the categories list to limited to catalog my collection, is it possible to add to this list at all?

Last weeks we are working on new version 4.11, which will include the feature you need. The beta version is already available on Download page: http://www.firetongue.com/download.shtml

In short, there is a pair of new fields for genres. Moving from categories to genres should be easy: if you already entered categories, they will be ported to genres once you install new version. And you can browse content by genres as well.

I have the beta version now, but I still cannot figure out how to rename or add genres. Is this possible?

Dave,

just type the new genre name in the Genre field. It will appear in the drop-down list next time you open the dialog.
