Text Starts Out Highlighted In Fields...

If you enter the notes field for a record, the text will be highlighted. I thought this might be a problem, but did not find myself deleting text because of this, until today. I find myself entering allot of text into this field, and if you have text in there, then go to that tab, and start typing, or use the keyboard shortcuts, or right click, to paste text in, what is there will be wiped out! Any chance this can be changed, so that the text in is not automatically highlighted? I am not sure why this was setup this way in the first place, as this causes this problem, and I do not see why you would want to so easily be able to wipe the text out.

Hi Doug,

Please note that second click in the field unselects everything. But I get your point, it might be safer to disable the auto-select for note fields because they allow entering multiple lines. I will keep eye on this issue in future. Thank you.
