Bug or my settings ?

I have just installed the latest release and now it takes a LONG time to decode the artwork for the CD covers, (320 CD covers take about 10 mins to decode). I am not sure if this is a bug or my setting need adjusted but it was not like this before I updated.

I am running ...

Win XP Pro
AMD 2200+
512 DDR 333 memory
2x40 Gig hard drives in Raid 0 mode
Gforce 4 Ti 4200 with 128 memory

Hi,

My problem was when I tried to show the "Entire Collection" of CD covers.

The good news is I have found the fault. explorer.exe was running the CPU at 100% even although I had shut everything down >:(

Showing "Entire Collection" of CD covers takes awhile if you have alot of Albums in your Database.I have 2907 Albums and %90 have Covers...trust me....it takes awhile if I try to browse them all.

I never try to browse the entire Collection hardly though....really no point....I guess to look at your whole Database at once. ::)

Make sure you store your Album Covers externally also...it helps out.....big time.
