I can ask for Artist is exactly or contains Various Artists and get the expected list but I need the opposite and using not equal or doesn't contain does not exclude these albums.

As a further point I used "No field contains Various Artists" and this was successful

Is the first point a bug?

Hi Stephen,

There was a bug related to not_equal in versions earlier than 5.0.2. But it is fixed in latest build, 5.0.2.6828. If you still see a problem with artists not_equal in latest build, please let me know.
