Drop Down Menus

Can you tell me how I can change the values in the drop down menus. For example, I want to add SACD to the type of media.

Here's How:

At the toolbar on top click View, then Preferences, then the Database Tab: Here you can create Custom Fields such as Personal Rating etc. -- change Format (which is what you're asking) -- Categories, and Genres to add permanently to the drop-down lists.
