last backup date

in the "defaut theme.dax" the last backup date is displayed on the start page using "Last backup: <!--[lastbackupdate/]--><br>" .
Is there a way to get this date displayed in the british dd/mm/yy rather than the american mm/dd/yy format - either as a modifer to this string in the theme file or as a setting somewhere in OrangeCD itself?
My system settings are already set the the british format.

No, there are no modifiers to the string, but the problem will be fixed in next update. The output will match your current locale, i.e. British.
