Self-Titled Albums

I'm having a problem with self-titled albums. I'd much rather list a self-titled album with just the artists name, and leave the album name black, rather then having to place the same name in both fields. This is easily overcome by just putting a space in the album name field. However, my problem is that when I maximize an artists folder to list the albums alphabetically, the self-titled album is displayed blank and always on top (because of the space). Any ideas on how I can make it so that it lists with the artist name alphabetically, but still has a blank album name field?

Why can't you just copy'n'paste the info? ???

How many albums does this apply on? Surely not that many. And the album IS often called the same as artist on selftitled ones...so no reason why not to enter. What if you are to search for this album? Then you must search by artist and click your way there.
