Ok
Is there any computer whiz or anybody for that matter that has figured out a way to take info gathered from cddb and submit it to freedb? I am sure someone has figured out a way to do it. If you would like you can email it to me personally. I just have SOO many disks that are found by cddb(for example via

Audiograbber claims to have support for both CDDB and FreedDB. But I don't know if that will help you.

You could take a look at the pyhton-based set of utilities at http://cddb-py.sourceforge.net/.

I'm not sure either, but I sure do appreciate the response. I will look into it when I get some time and let people know if it is indeed helpful.

Just realized that Audiograbber is freeware (as of 2004-02-09), and the official homepage is http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/. Will give it a try myself.

Found this while roaming the Audiograbber Forum. The posting is from 2001, so it may be outdated:
"Winamp stores disc informations in in_cdda.cdb and this file is not a plain text like discs.txt. My program can convert them. Try http://webclub.kcom.ne.jp/ma/takabin/test/ . This can convert in_cdda.cdb to discs.txt always, but discs.txt to in_cdda.cdb converting requires CDDBID and "frames=" key in discs.txt."

The above mentioned program may be your missing link. Rip in WinAmp, convert disc info to discs.txt and then import into an application that can read discs.txt. ...
Maybe it works, who knows...

OK been gone for a while-Is there a program that will let you retrieve info from cddb and enter it into OrangeCd? If not directly, is there a work around other than manually copy & pasting?
It would be cool if there was.

I will ask again. Maybe something has changed?
I burned a disc. Asked freedb to aquire data-no data
The same disc - using player (vuplayer.com) and it retrieved info off of cddb.
Other than copy and pasting everything from player to OrangeCd, I was wondering if there was a tool or instructions on how to import directly from player or Cddb to OrangeCD?

I have succeeded in doing this by using Player:
http://www.vuplayer.com/player.php
Download the details from Cddb using Player, which has an option to export details to windows/cdplayer.ini. Orange CD has an option to import from there. This works!
NB If OrangeCD has previously saved the details of the disc not found on freedb under "New Artist" or some such, this will block the import of new details from cdplayer.ini. You will need to delete this entry.
