I was asked today whether I felt OrangeCD was worthy of being termed freedb-compliant?
To me, it seems pretty darned compliant! On the receiving end, I can see no room for complaint, unless there are some fields that are not being retrieved and stored. I see few (if any) entries with Label, CD #, Date, etc. in them, but attribute that to the data not being supplied by the submitter, not to any fault of OrangeCD. Am I right?
I have not received any feedback from the several submissions of data I have made via OrangeCD to freedb, so do not know if the sending part works as well as the receiving.
What should I say when I next get to talk to the person about OrangeCD's worthiness of being a freedb recognized cataloguer?
