big problem

when i open some of my mp3 files i'm told that they are being used by another program but i can't see what program is using them which make them useless,
some files are fine but a large selection are having this problem. it doesn't matter what prgram i use, winamp, Windows media e.t.c i still get the same problem.

i just wondered if anyone else has had this problem or if anyone has got a solution?

is there any way of saving these files or are they pretty much lost?

usually if you reboot then it will be fine...windows is crap like that <_<
