Standard HTML code cannot be used in posts. However this forum, which is based on YaBB, allows the use of something called YaBB Bulletin Board Code (YaBBC).
YaBBC is similar to HTML, but uses square brackets ([]) rather than angle brackets (<>) to enclose tag names.
Here are a few examples of some of the options:
bold text
italic text
underlined text
colored text
superscript
subscript
fixed text
centered text
glowing text
moving text
strikethrough
quote
...
