Where is my catalogue?

I haven't been into my record catalogue for a couple of months and now I find a request for a new database and a short list of records!!!! I have made over 1,100 entries in the last 2-3 years and they seem to have disappeared. Can you explain?

How can anyone possibly know what happened to your files, especially those for which you don't know the type or locatation in the first place?

Use Windows' search to find *.dab files (the primary database) on your hard drives. Also look for *.obk (the database backup). If you can't find any, you might consider resorting to backups. But I'm suspecting by your post that you have none. :-[

Also consider if you made any major changes to your computer since you last saw your database. Upgrades to the operating system? New hardware?
