Folks:
Does this software work for high resolution discs like SACD (super audio CD), DVD-Audio and the new "dual discs?" I haven't bought the software yet but I need something to manage my regular (Redbook) CDs and my hi-res collection. Since this setup works by reading the disc, it is hard to understand how a computer that can't read SACD discs can read them... I'm confused.

Thanks in advance,
mnilan

I only have a few SACDs and since my computer can't read them I just added them manually.

I don't know much about SADC/DVD-Audio/DualDisc formats, but if your computer hardware (CD/DVD player) can't handle them, then there is no way your software will.

I would think the main question here is whether FreeDB and CDDB support these hi-res formats. Unless they do, there is little use in adding them to programs like OrangeCD.

I simply add the information for the normal CD and mark it as an SACD/DVD-A under 'properties - general'. If you go to 'properties - custom/misc', you will find the appropriate icons as well.

So far,for me, this has worked very well.
