Can I use custom fields in templates? How to?

Yes, you can. There are four custom fields at the ALBUM level, and you display their content by using <!--[Custom1]-->, <!--[Custom2]-->, <!--[Custom3]-->, <!--[Custom4]-->.

Here's a sample script which you could place under the Album Page Tag (in DaxEdit):
