Delete tracks on a cd

I have several cds that came with the BBC Music Magazine. All of them have complete works, but a few also excerpts from "cds of the month". Since the latter are not complete there is no reason to keep them in the database, but OCD won't let me delete them in the Tracks tab of album properties or anywhere else that I can find. Is there any way to do this? And, if not, why not?

You can't delete tracks from CD entry, but you can create a copy of it using Tools -> Duplicate menu command, and delete tracks from the copy.
Then you can delete original CD entry if you don't need it.
